yoga master and movement director

In my work as physical trainer with actors and dancers, anyone in general, I have always kept a dynamic and vigorous investigation of several of the body techniques in existence throughout the world in their several cultures and in distinctive periods.

I became particularly interested in Yoga, and its ancestral and pragmatic science. The art of Yoga deals with the physical, moral and mental as well as the emotional and spiritual well-being of humans.

The very meaning of Yoga is to 'unify', to create a bond, a union between the individual with the Universe'.

However, to connect the individual to something, first we need to get to know him and his needs, his particular needs, and this process might simply come into an absolute and delicate field of what is then turned into practice to be known. And that, needless to say, is very subjective.

I consider this process absolutely necessary for those who want to work as actors or dancers.

Contemporary man has never been so distant from himself and has never been so insecure regarding this particularity and this cultural and artistic personality.

With art and cultural globalization, something very particular to Mankind was missed: his identity and conscience vis-a-vis the size of the Universe.

Thus, I realize the urge of a comprehensive work that covers the relationship between body and mind.

Through physical exercise, breathing and concentration exercises of Yoga, I’ve become more alert and conscious. I was introduced to a method of personal investigation that took me to a level of self-knowledge and balance I had never experienced with any other technique.

My background and practice in Yoga has given me the authority to bring this knowledge to the training of actors and dancers with whom I work, perceiving an immediate result in the precision of their movements and in the conscience of how important breathing and the quality of their gestures are.
